About the Bakery
Our story so far
From a young age, I helped my Mum in the kitchen, baking any manner of sweet treats. Then, as a “Baking and Pastry Arts Management” (Dublin Institute of Technology) student I learned to create anything from batch loaves to lemon meringue pies – it was here that my love of baking was cemented.
In July 2012 I created my first Wedding Cake for my brother and, from then on, I continued to create all kinds of lovely cakes and treats for family and friends.
Following a stint in London as a trainee with an award-winning cake designer, I knew this was where I wanted to be. Primrose Lane Bakery was born in May 2015 and I haven’t looked back since. We create bespoke cakes marking weddings, celebrating new additions to the family, adding that extra something to a themed party and, often, as a special Thank You for that someone.
In recent years I moved from my small bakery in Glenmore, Cooley Peninsula to a new improved bakery at my current home in Darver, Louth. We are now open for wedding consultations, on appointment.
